Senior Computational Physicist

Senior Computational PhysicistPeter is a Senior Computational Physicist at Modern Hydrogen. He has more than fifteen years of experience in computation and theory across materials simulations, plasma physics, physical chemistry, condensed matter theory and quantum mechanics. Peter received his PhD in physics from the University of Chicago where he studied high-temperature superconductivity and his BS is from Harvey Mudd College. As a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute for Molecular Engineering at the University of Chicago, he studied methods for atomic-scale fabrication of quantum information devices. Peter is the first author of nine papers and is a recipient of several national fellowships, including the Hertz Fellowship, the Goldwater Scholarship, and the IC Postdoctoral Research Fellowship.

Peter also plays cello and piano, and enjoys woodworking, landscape photography, bicycling, and gardening.
