Starting with natural gas inputs, Modern systems use heat to crack natural gas into hydrogen and solid carbon. Taking advantage of existing pipeline infrastructure means reliable delivery of natural gas products without the cost, logistics risks, and operations challenges associated with truck deliveries and high-pressure storage. Modern’s process is thermally driven and catalyst-free, which means domestically sourced inputs, simplified operations, and minimal electrical loads.

How Does Natural Gas Pyrolysis Work?
